For years now, we have received emails from researchpublicationxxx@gmail.com soliciting papers for various journals. After being extremely careful, we finally got ‘scammed’ and the email we sent our paper and money to was determined to be a total fraud. Therefore, approach any activity with the following emails and journals with extreme caution. If you receive an acceptance letter and invoice from any of the following emails, insist your paper is published online first, and then pay the invoice…or else you might be very sorry. All emails from these sources use very polite English and are highly sophiscated. Some use high quality fake acceptance letters and invoices.
Multiple fake journals participating in the scam also use ESRO as a payment processing facility.
