SJRQ3-Boletin de Literatura Oral - Tradition Oral Literature - HIJACKED/COPY/SCAM

Urgent statement on magazine plagiarism

 2023-10-18

We inform our readers, authors and members of the editorial committees that, recently, our magazine has been plagiarized anonymously by an accessible online publication that reproduces exactly the same title, ISSN, design and corporate elements of the Oral Literature Bulletin . The University of Jaén has already implemented legal measures to try to get the internet server on which this fraudulent publication is hosted to remove the contents, but in the meantime we want to alert our users of the situation.

Since the electronic portal of the fraudulent magazine reproduces the design of our magazine, please note that the authentic URL of the Oral Literature Bulletin is the following: https://revistaselectronicas.ujaen.es/index.php/blo/index

We also remember that our magazine only accepts contributions related to the oral tradition and in no case charges for the publication or reading of the articles, compared to the openness to all kinds of topics of the false magazine, which seeks to attract the maximum number from for-profit authors. We are therefore not responsible for the following instructions provided by the anonymous editors of the aforementioned publication:

Dear Authors.

We are pleased to invite you to submit your valuable manuscript to the Boletin de Literatura Oral E-ISSN: 2173-0695.

Dear Author,

We ask for your assistance in completing the annual editorial survey for the Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice (JHETP). These responses are critical to setting our policies and helping us continue to improve our content and processes. We are very close to becoming a tier 2 journal in Scopus, and there is a chance that we could become a tier 1 Scopus journal by the end of 2023. The survey will greatly help us with our quest to become a tier 1 journal.

Please click the link below to complete the survey. It should only take a few minutes to complete. We greatly appreciate your help with this.

Best regards,

North American Business Press would like to warn the academic community about a malicious website posing as NABP’s Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice (JHETP).

The questionable website www.johetap.com is posting previously accepted papers that were reviewed and published by JHETP’s editorial team. We strongly believe that the individuals behind this would soon start reaching out to authors and inviting them to submit papers and collect payments to be published on the fake journal site.

We are sending this warning to avoid falling prey to this malicious practice. We’d like to remind everyone that you can find all published papers in JHETP at the official online article repository https://articlegateway.com/index.php/JHETP/login. Furthermore, please submit your papers only through the North American Business Press website, www.nabpress.com, or via the official editorial email, editorials@nabpress.com.

Should you receive any questionable email from someone posing as a representative of JHETP, kindly report it by sending an email to editor@nabpress.com.

Best Regards,

Elena Marks
