EJIHPE (ISSN 2254-9625) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published by MDPI (impact factor of 2.6 for 2024). On average, a first decision is provided to authors 25.79 days after submission, and acceptance to publication is undertaken in 4.66 days (median values for manuscripts published in this journal in the second half of 2025). An article processing charge (APC) of 1600 CHF currently applies to each accepted manuscript ( https://www.mdpi.com/journal/ejihpe/apc ). APCs are only applied to accepted manuscripts after peer review. Acceptance decisions can only be made by independent Academic Editors and not by MDPI staff.
