Beall Listed: Yes, because Allied Academies is on the list, which has the exact same physical address in London (see screen capture). “Allied Academies is an established and reputed publisher which started publishing in the year 1994. Initially the focus of the group was to organize conferences and publish articles in the realm of Business and Management, with time the publisher expanded the subject scope and presently focusing on other subject areas.”

Scopus Discontinued List: We are not 100% clear as to the Scopus status of this journal and what the actual ISSN is. Neither is SJR if you read their comments to the journal portal. However, from the May 2021 Scopus database, ASMJ is active and has never been discontinued under the ISSN listed.

Journal Web Page Comments: With an acceptance rate of 30%, the journal considers theoretical and empirical works .

AJR comments: We are very confused why the PDFs have the “Journal of the International Academy for Case Studies” as the journal name. This is being investigated. We also think that the journal is trying to ‘reinvent’ themselves (Allied Business Academies) as the ‘old’ publisher, Allied Academies, was placed on the Beall Publisher list. In the meantime, we suggest another journal for multiple reasons.

This is a very expensive journal!
