APC: FREE. CET is a truly open-access journal. There is no handling charge or publication fee for authors.

Authors can request Fast Track Review and Publication (FTRP) for their articles using the "Actions" menu on the online submission system after the article is submitted through the system. Editors will honor fast track requests depending on the availability. If the request is honored, it is guaranteed that the review process and, if the article is accepted, publication of the manuscript will be completed within 6-8 weeks after submission. The FTRP fee is 985 EUR. Payment for fast track processing will be due only if your article is accepted. Important note: Fast track option allows accelerated processing periods only and does not guarantee acceptance.

Frequency: Contemporary Educational Technology (CET) is an internationally peer-reviewed journal.  It is published quarterly in January, April, July and October. All submissions go through a strictly double-blind review process. 

Template: Manuscripts should preferably be submitted in the Microsoft Word format according to the Authors’ Guidelines of the journal and the Writing Template provided. 

Style: Articles exceeding 8,000 words (about 30 double-spaced or about 20 journal pages) in length are unlikely to be published unless they are of exceptional significance. 

In general, the APA Style Manual should be complied.
