The submitted articles in JBR must not exceed 45 double-spaced pages, with 1 inch margins, and 12 pt fonts, not counting title and abstract pages. Tables and references should be typed on separate pages at the end. The title page should contain title, authors, and affiliations. An Abstract of 150 words or less and a list of four-six keywords should follow the title page. On page 3 of the manuscript repeat the title, but not the author's names, to permit anonymity during the reviewing process. Final accepted manuscripts typically should have less than 8000 words (all inclusive).

Articles using quantitative methods
Please note that the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management requires that:
a) You attach a copy of the questionnaire - this may be in the original language but where possible a translation in English is appreciated;
b) A list of the items used in scaled data is required that shows the means, standard deviations, skew and kurtosis is requested. Many statistical techniques make assumptions of normality and referees and readers need to know that data does or does not conform to this requirement. The tables may be added as an appendix;
c) The use of structural equation modelling is a popular technique, and hence referees would wish to know not only that data meets the requirement of normality (and if not, what has been done about it) but also how missing data have been treated. It is a common requirement that not only are indices of fit reported, but also a covariance matrix is provided and critical ratios and average variance extracted are also reported;
d) Testing of the adequacy of the sample size should be undertaken; and
e) Details as to the means of collecting the sample should be provided.

Advances in Hospitality and Tourism Research (AHTR) is the official and international scholarly research journal of Akdeniz University Tourism Faculty.
Our policy for similarity levels is the similarity with each source should not exceed 1% and total similarity should not exceed 15%.
Manuscripts should be written in English and not exceed 10,000 words. For research notes, the length limit of the manuscript is 3,000 words.

Handbook comments: The journal had some of the most extensive pre and post-acceptance editing we have ever seen. Also, KJSS was and still is renowned for their highly structured submission process and documentation support. For a year or so they were also under the Elsevier umbrella, but then suddenly withdrew back to being an independent university journal.
Also, even though APA Edition 7 has been out since October 2019, the
very long KJSS style guide PDF specifically states they are using APA Edition 6 in April 2021. A
little behind the times we would say. Finally, KJSS places a very strict 15
page limitation on author manuscripts, which is double-spaced, 12-point, Times
New Roman. Using these constraints, it is nearly impossible to submit a paper
other than a short RESEARCH BRIEF. Full RESEARCH ARTICLES (RA) including the
expected theory development, associated references and tables exceeds these
limitations significantly. Therefore, if you need to publish a full RA which
meets your doctoral or faculty requirements, you need to find another journal.
It is also difficult to understand why on the journal's home page there is a prominent link button to Elsevier's front door. If you click on it and search for KJSS, an image for the journal comes up but clicking on the link gets the following response:
