Beware of researchpublication99@gmail.com journal submission emails for TURCOMAT

I have noticed in 2021 numerous emails from researchpublicationxx@gmail.com which solicit papers for various journals. In the following screen capture received by a Thai professor, we can see that account "99" is soliciting papers for TURCOMAT. However, in my last submission and acceptance (June 2021) for TURCOMAT, the fee was only $300 USD if you used the site's online submission system. It is not clear to me is these emails are coming from a marketing team for the journal or if they are a pure scam. Previous emails to other journals asking about this indicates it is a 'scam', but I am not so sure. However, the bottom line is that TURCOMAT's APC is significantly lower if you do a direct submission to their online system.

Another odd similarity with these emails from "researchpublication" is that the intended 'victim' is BCCed (blind copied) and not sent the email directly. As yet, I have no explanation for this. Suggestions and comments are welcome.
