Frequency: rEFLections publishes two issues a year: No. 1, January-June and No. 2, July-December.

Research articles: These are full reports of research projects including background, literature review, theoretical framework, methodology, results and discussion. The articles should demonstrate up-to-date, critical findings that respond to the trends and inquiries in today’s English language teaching. The manuscript should be approximately 6,000-8,000 words, excluding references and appendices.  An abstract should be no longer than 250 words.

Academic papers: They are position papers making arguments based on evidence and theory. The papers should offer novel, evaluative perspectives to the existing knowledge. They should be no longer than 6,000 words (excluding references and appendix) and accompanied with a 250-word abstract.

Book reviews: A critical review of two categories of books - references books and textbooks - based on content, style and merit. The length of each review should not exceed 1,000 words.
