Scopus Discontinued-International Journal of Innovation, Creativity, and Change (IJICC)

SCImago Journal & Country Rank

Journal Name: International Journal of Innovation, Creativity, and Change

Short name: IJICC

Subject Area and Category:

Arts and Humanities- Social Sciences - Education

Country: United Kingdom

Review date: 2021.04.27

SJR Quartile: It was SJRQ2, then blacklisted by Scopus shortly after being taken over by IEC.

ISSN: 22011323, 22011315

Publisher: In reality, Malaysia’s International Edge Consultancy (IEC), not Primrose Hall Publishing Group.

Email: editor@ijicc.net

APC: IJICC had a $700 APC in 2019/2020 but in 2021 IJICC dropped their APC to $400.00 AUD or $309USD. We would also like to point out that IJICC was discontinued in 2020 by Scopus due to “publication concerns”. Is this why they reduced their APC by over half? This is the only journal in the world we are aware of that has reduced their APC.

Editor(s): Dr. Tina Doe (2021.04.27)

Journal Web Page Comments:

Handbook comments: IJICC still prominently advertises they are Scopus indexed at Q2 on their web site in June 2021. Is this deceptive advertising, an unethical practice, or a simple mistake that IJICC’s editor does not know about (being Scopus discontinued)? We leave it for you to decide. We suggest authors find an alternative journal if their faculty requires papers in Scopus/SJR indexed journals for credit. Invoicing now comes from the International Edge Consultancy (IEC) in Malaysia.
